okay so the lovely SARAH over at THE CRAZY BABY MAMA presented me with an award and its my first one and i’m beyond excited about it.  to the point where it made my stressful weekend a hell of a lot more bearable.  my weekend wasn’t bad…just stressful…LA…anyhow…

it’s the honest to scrap award and the deal is i need to award it to at least 7 of my favorite bloggers (and i’ll be sticking to 7 since so many of my faves already have the award).  as instructed, the names and links of the blogs i am recognizing are in my blog, and i’ve left them a comment letting them know they’ve been “scrapped.”

finally, i need to list 10 honest things about myself…it’s now or never:

1. i believe the best way to eat a cupcake is to rip off the bottom, place it on top and eat the whole thing like a frosting sandwich…yum!

2. my dvr causes as much stress in my life as it does joy

3. i’m in the middle of the 3rd twilight book…oh my god, that might have been too honest

4. my silky pillow that i sleep with every night has completely fallen apart.  NANI has sent me a series of replacement pillows and pillow cases but i fear it will never be quite the same, and i will never again sleep quite as well

5. i’m still not sure how i feel about day camp

6. i love reading about other people’s DIY projects and fantasize about doing them myself – but never get around to it.  sometimes i start.  i often buy supplies, but that’s about as far as it gets – case in point, my cut up pile of tshirts for my supposed tshirt quilt – collecting dust since 2006

7. deep down i know that no matter how many pairs of black boots and brown boots i own, there will always be another pair that i have to have

8. sometimes i miss being a personal shopper…but then i look at the bunion on my right foot

9. i feel guilty that my parents bought the house they bought when we moved to CT.  it’s big and old and now it’s falling apart and i think its sorta my fault.

10. my middle name is FANNY.  and it’s the best name ever!

alright, i’m off to read a little before bed (now that you all know what i’m reading, i feel so exposed!).  tomorrow is our two year anniversary.  a special dinner is in order.  and of course thursday morning we head to chi-town.  when do we slow down, you ask?  hmmmm…i was just thinking the same thing.
