it’s 9:47pm and there is a fucking car alarm going off.  on top of packing for LA, folding laundry and just generally trying to get life in order – its about to push me over the edge.  i’ve had a stressful few days.  with the holidays and the series of upcoming short trips and work and all – there’s just a lot going on and as we all know, i tend to get a bit overwhelmed.  right now it is manifesting itself in the form of me pulling my hair out over the car alarm, and frantically deleting shows from my dvr that i haven’t yet washed because its all too much.  i’m way way way behind – 2 episodes of gossip girl, 2 episodes of flipping out, the new svu, rachel zoe (i die!), glee, and now all the thursday night tv to boot.  and what am i watching right now, you ask?  well, i’m watching true life: the true adventures (because that won’t repeat a million times for the rest of my life) of course!  i’ve been watching this show since way back in ‘98 and while it might not have the same significance as 90210, i think i can quite possibly name each of the every 200 episodes.  whatever.  at least i’m consistent.

oh, and i played majong again last night.  so fun.  i even MAJ-ED! (that’s our new term for when you win!).  FF DDDD NEWS DDDD – for those in the know!

did i mention we head to LA tomorrow after work?  when i moved here i promised myself i’d make the trip down every 6 weeks to see grandparents (and MY TALL FRIEND!) but then i got this crazy job and so i haven’t been there since march.  essentials on my list include: titos, chopped salad, kol nidre and HOPEFULLY a birthday outfit for ABN.  the celebration is next weekend…stay tuned! (and i wouldn’t complain if i could get a haircut but i have to be somewhat realistic).
