so i know you are expecting a full recap of the first real week of camp – but for right now we have much more important things to discuss.  there was a celebrity sighting in DA NOE and i missed it.  life is just so unfair.

recently i was turned on to a noe valley based blog – updated constantly to reflect both minor and major neighborhood news.  got a cute dog?  it could easily end up as the DA NOE dog of the week.  notice that a store has either opened or closed?  get the full scoop.  most importantly the blog has the illusive information about when the ELIZABETH STREET BREWERY is open for business – important stuff i know.

so yesterday as i’m recovering from my week (and the 3 wisemen i some how threw back at the end of the night…bad camp director) and ABN is being all responsible and hitting up the farmer’s market down the street i’m checking my google reader (i’m a loser – it’s true) and come to read this on the noe valley buzz.  a REAL celebrity sighting – well, real as the REAL WORLD is concerned.  PAM and JUD together, STILL?!? and in my neighborhood.  i always miss the good stuff.  i’m never drinking again.

shabbat #1 was great – especially because it was shabbat #1 and we have 8 more to improve upon.  they walked into israeli music i just “happened” to have on my iphone (clearly i was born to do this job…right?) and then they danced in circles in small groups.  shira rocked – and will rock more.  and my story was a good one (thanks to all who helped to point me in the right direction).  i felt good about how things went – i think we are beginning to create a nice camp tradition and ritual.  we have lots of room to grow.  which is you know, a lot of pressure.
