yesterday was a great day for a number of reasons.  the first – i didn’t work.  at all.  and it was the first day in forever.  okay, i checked work email once and was obsessively checking text messages for a while…but then ABN ripped my iphone out of my hand and wouldn’t give it back – even responding to all the texts that came in that were non work related.  it was so nice to have the break.  SO NICE.

our day started out by me sleeping until after 10.  i know – its goign to make it so super hard to get up tomorrow – i think i need to be at the office at 6:30..but it felt so good.  a boker tov indeed.  ABN and i then hit the alemany farmer’s market.  everyone says you have to get there early but let me just say – we got there about 1:30 – and found parking immediately.  it wasn’t jam packed – everything we needed was still there and i got to have amazing mexican street food so really – getting there late was FINE.

we were supposed to hit up the camp rock show but i sorta got distracted and next thing i knew we were heading to BEX’s goingi wanna rock with you!i wanna rock with you! away party.  can i just say that i think every going away party should include the dyke march and an impromptu michael jackson tribute dance party?!  amazing.  we ate burritos, drank beer and came home to a fireworks show over twin peaks.

this morning i finished up the schedules to hand out to parents tomorrow and reconciled petty cash (14 cents extra!).  i’m jupming in the shower and then we’re heading to an afternoon showing of THE HANGOVER – i can’t believe i’m seeing a movie in a theater!  we’re planning to grill tonight – just the two of us.  ABN promised guac – perfection.  i may attempt a strawberry pie with the massive amounts of produce i purchased yesterday.
